Skipper has one mission, and that is to keep everyone always smiling, and he takes this job very seriously. Home Fur Good discovered him at the county shelter and instantly they were drawn to his magnetic personality. Skipper is an eight-year-old, 26-pound Puggle, which is a Pug and Beagle mix. True to his Puggle nature, he does not act like an older dog; he will do his best to maintain a toddler attitude forever. Within 20 minutes of meeting the HFG Paparazzi Crew, he was wearing pants and a shirt and making everyone laugh. Skipper can show a serious side, because he studied up and learned sit and down to make sure he gets the yummy treats. He is very serious about his food, he will guard his snacks. He would do best around older children that can understand not to mess with his food. Skipper has met several other dogs and he will happily chill with dogs that give him his space. If you need a happy boy at your side, give a call to meet Skipper. The adoption fee for Skipper is $300, which is higher than it would be under our normal fee schedule. That is because he is one of our Guardian Angel dogs. Guardian Angel dogs are highly desirable adoptees, and their increased fees are used expressly to help defray costs for our rescues with special needs such as advanced medical treatment or training for behavioral issues, or for those who are with us for unusually long periods of time. In this way the Guardian Angels directly help our other rescues! All adoption fees include spaying/neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and a free wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital. Our adoption hours are Thursday-Saturday from 11:00 am-4:00 pm by appointment.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
