Description:
Kevin is a handsome bay gelding with a wonderful, playful personality. He is considered green under saddle but one of our 14 year old lesson students has taken him on as her project. She is putting him through his paces and logging a variety of diverse miles. Together they have ridden all over the ranch - past farm animals, tractors, vehicles, and other horses. Kevin has been on trail rides and while he is still green on the trail, he is sensible and smart. Hes gone through obstacle courses under saddle and has drug a tarp. He has a smooth trot and canter and will pick up both leads with ease. We have found that Kevin does buck under saddle, we have sought out the cause and have found it not to be pain related. Our vets believe it is behavioral. Due to this, he will require an advanced rider or a professional trainer to continue his training. Kevin has great ground manners and truly enjoys being handled and groomed, but under saddle he is a touch rambunctious. Due to Kevins conformation, our veterinarians feel he would not excel under high intensity disciplines. This includes jumping, cutting, and reining. Adoption fee: $800 Height: 14.2 HH Maximum Carrying Weight: 210lbs (including tack and rider.)

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
