Description:
Our friendly, furry faced lab mix BEN might have been a psychiatrist in his former life. This wonderfully, calm and polite fellow is content to chill by your side while you carry on all the conversation and nicely nods his head and makes imaginary notes on what you are saying. Ben is out of the fun and games and lets play with toys phase at 10yrs of age and is in a more reflective mode of life. As he reflects, you can count on him to give you some random wet nose nudges and perhaps even a kiss or two. Slowly walking around and inspecting our photo area and then softly checking in with his new humans seemed to sate his soul. Arriving with 2 other dogs who found themselves in a challenging environment, Ben still has plenty of pet goodness in him to make his next family proud to have him under their care. Ben would love to be rehomed with his current doggy friend Max (his other friend was adopted) but hes also OK going solo. He is not interested in making new doggy friends. Gone there, done that, he might say! As he beautifully walked back to the kennel area, we whispered in his ear, "We will push to find your new perfect pet position. Keep your chin up and well do all the work to make the rehoming magic happen."

 Dog Adoption fees include:

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
