Dexter is 3 years old and came to us as a stray in February 2021. He was found by a good Samaritan at Jones Beach, which is just heartbreaking. Dexter is friendly with other dogs (he has been awesome in our doggy play groups!) and likes meeting new people. Dexter already knows a ton of commands including - sit, down, and both paws. Dexter loves treats and is very playful, and really wants to get out of here! We know he will make a great companion to the lucky family who adopts him. He does need a strong owner, and one with some dog experience, as he is a big boy who sadly has already been adopted and returned, and we want to ensure that never happens again.
