*Sam is currently located in Santa Fe, NM. Adopters must be able to travel to Santa Fe to meet him.*

Sam is one of a large number of dogs that we rescued from a terrible hoarding situation, but despite this background he is the most loving, mellow dog! He is just lovely and friendly with all people. Sam is a huge couch potato. He loves his walks but may not be the best hiker!  Sam is deaf and is learning hand signals. He would love to find a home with an adopter who can give him the time and special attention he deserves.

Sam would prefer to be the only dog in his home. He may do fine with a dog in his weight class and size, but a dog introduction is required to ensure he is placed with a compatible dog. He should not go to a home with small dogs/puppies or cats. A home with older children or adults only is preferred.  He would do best with a a dog-sophisticated owner.
