Oh Cheddar, what a little character! This seven-year old 13 pound chihuahua/schkipperke mix loves to eat and eat and eat, and when the bowl is obviously cleaned out, he runs around the house checking the other doggy bowls to see if he can’t find just one teeny overlooked morsel. Cheddar adores hanging out in the sun and sunbathing, and he spends a lot of time investigating every nook and cranny in the backyard of his foster mom’s home. He likes walks and older children, and he adores his stuffed toys, his braided rings and squeaky toys. He can play with them all for hours! He gets along well with other dogs and likes to play, but he shouldn’t be in a home with cats. He loves acting like the protector of his yard and sticking close to his foster mom, who sees in him a perfect lap dog. This little guy is dying to hang out with his new family members and snuggle with them all night long--under the covers! Cheddar is just waiting to share his forever home with his new family and would really like to have kids to play with.
