Pax came to us from a multiple-dog family, so he is great with other dogs (especially his rescue roommate, Ace--see videos at https://youtu.be/H0k0iV_VYTw and https://youtu.be/_A0SCK8w7jA ). At about six months old and weighing 30 lbs., hes a high-energy and playful shepherd mix (its a guess) puppy. Vocal for one minute with strangers, he warms up quickly and winds up sitting on the strangers foot for a cuddle. He loves kids and playing fetch with a squeak toy but hasnt yet perfected the return for another toss. This youngster is already neutered, heartworm negative, on parasite prevention, up to date on appropriate vaccinations, crate-trained, and working on house- and leash-training. Highly food motivated, Pax is learning to work for and accept treats gently and is the perfect age to master all his new familys household rules.
This dog is sheltered in a foster based, nonprofit rescue. The Adoption Fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea, Tick and Heartworm Treatment and Prevention, and Sheltering.
