Meet Finn!
Finn is a 4 year old male Shepherd/Pit mix. 

Finn is a loyal pup who is looking for his best friend. He hasn’t had the easiest life, but he still has so much love to give. 

Once he trusts you, he is a loyal companion for life. He LOVES his people and could spend all day laying on the bed snuggling if he could. He can have a hard time adjusting to environments with tons of new people around, and would do best in a stable, predictable home without young kids or other animals.

Finn is house trained, does well on walks in quiet neighborhoods, and good with basic commands. He loves the outdoors, going on walks/runs, playing in the water and rolling on grass, and is the best car passenger! His issues in the past were with resource possession, so the best forever family for him would be one who is comfortable sticking to a routine, teaching basic obedience and giving Finn space when necessary (when eating or when he is playing with toys).

$125 adoption donation w/ available $100 reimbursement for proof of enrollment in training to get Finn and his new family started on the right foot!

3. If it sounds like a potential match for you and the dog of interest, we will promptly set up a meet and greet at the foster home

Please note we are a foster-based rescue meaning our dogs are in individual foster homes throughout sac and the bay. For this reason we may only be able to schedule meets for one dog at a time (or litter). The average timeline between app submission and a meet and greet is 3-5 days. Please only submit an application for a specific dog if you are ready to adopt that animal within a weeks time.
