Where are my loving, patient, and up-for-an-emotional-challenge people at??

DOUGIE was surrendered by a backyard breeder and had never seen the indoors until he came to New Favorite Day. He seems to have been a leftover from a previous litter, and just stuck around the "farm". He was wildly abused, whether by dogs, people, or both we dont know, but you would never know that from his eagerness to love. He plays wildly well with other dogs, and enjoys couch time with humans.

Dougie is quick to seek love and pets, but is deathly afraid of collars, leashes, and anything else on his body. Also, if you hug him too tight he gets scared. Through all of this change, he has been put through the wringer, but has never once thought of biting anyone.

He is determined to get better, and just needs a home to give him love, patience, and consistency.
