Gauge is looking for his miracle. Gauge was rescued from the shelter and we were excited to give him the life he finally deserved. We all fell in love with Gauges gentle spirit when he arrived but were then soon crushed when he was diagnosed with a high grade rectal cancer. Gauge has undergone 2 surgeries and chemo and has been an absolute Rockstar! His current treatment regimen is a prescription to soak up all of the love, pets, walks, treats and snuggles to fill a lifetime! He is now in remission but due to the aggressive nature of his cancer there is a very high probability it will return at some point. His doctors have given him 12 to 18 months. We are all hoping Gauge squashes these estimates and gets to enjoy a full life but his future is uncertain. What we do know is that Gauge is an absolute sweetheart and we will do everything in our power to make sure he gets to live ever day to its fullest no matter how many days that may be.
