After orthopedic surgery ay the University of Minnesota, physical therapy, 4 weeks of kennel rest and slowly building muscle back, Peyton is finally ready for adoption. Through his whole journey, he has been nothing but a Furry ball of love. Its as if he understood that life was just getting better and better! He wasnt wrong! Through it all, he was in the company of other dogs so he would be properly socialized and be fluent in Dog Speak. Hes spent many hours in a rocking chair, in the arms of his foster mom while his bone knit back together. Now that Peyton can take short walks in the woods for some exercise, he has discovered a deep and abiding love for sticks. Hes so easy to please! This German Shepherd Mix was born around June 14, 2022. Hes growing fast so we anticipate that hell be a bigger guy! Peyton is kennel trained and dog friendly. Hes also people friendly and comes when hes called. To meet Peyton, apply at emotionalrescuedogs.org.
