Hi there! My name is Carter (HWTH#21019A) I am a Shepherd mix, born on 4-20-2020 and I weigh 44 lbs. I came to Halfway to Home from the California City shelter.  The nice people at the rescue are getting to know me and helping me find my forever home! I am a handsome, friendly boy who may be a little shy at first but I warm up quickly. I am young so I need practice walking on a leash and a family who will take me to obedience training so that I learn what is expected of me. I also need lots of squeaky and chew toys! I would be a great fit for an active owner who likes to go on walks, hiking, and maybe even camping! I also need a big fenced yard to run and play.
