Magnificent Max! 

He’s big. He’s beautiful. He’s maybe the best fetch dog ever. He will put the toy right back in your hand! Max is around 8 yrs old and around 80lbs. He likes other dogs but also loves human companionship. He loves to run and will need room. He loves his people and likes to be close. He knows several behaviors and quickly learns new ones. He is eager to please and wants to know what is expected of him. 

 Max needs a little time to warm up to new people but once friends he remembers them and is fine. He has a few things to work on but he’s so close to being a perfect boy. He’s a vocal boy and could learn to express himself in a more appropriate (to us) way. He could use a little work on leash and being calm in public. He would do best in a low key but active home. Someone that likes to hike or run but not in very busy areas. Low crowd sports would be great too. 

Max has been with us most of his life. We have worked on some things to help he be more adoptable. He has mellowed with age and now enjoys a sofa and a good toy. He’s still plenty active. He is well behaved in the house and stays uncrated. Max has severe noise anxiety and we would love to move him to an area with less fireworks.
