In shelter Dog

San Antonio, TX, 78227
Pet name:
Marley is an incredibly sweet and goofy boy. If youre looking for a best friend who loves to be by your side, hes your dog. Marley is very quirky in the best ways. Hes 60lbs but sometimes walks with the daintiest paws youd think he was a little chihuahua. He also sometimes sits straight on your lap, or will try to gently climb onto your lap and fit his whole body on you when youre sitting on a chair. He absolutely LOVES wrestling with his human and this is a must in his new home. For most of the day hes pretty quiet and calm. Hes house-trained, crate-trained, and can be trusted alone in the house. Marley is looking for a house where hes allowed to be on the bed, couch and play fight with you. Hes a versatile dog - can spend the day hiking or staying in watching movies and cuddling. Marley "smiles" and "talks" alot when hes happy or playing. Again, just an all around goofy and sweet dog.

Marley does need someone that will support him and take things extra slow when he gets nervous! Loud sounds like motorcycles on walks scare him and he freezes. I kneel down with him, pet him a bunch and will either let it pass or walk a different direction.

loves hikes, walks and runs
likes other dogs
good with cats
loves kids

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
