Meet Chipotle! This friendly little Shih Tzu was found as a stray and his owners never claimed him. He loves people and doesn’t seem to mind interacting with other dogs or cats but we found out he doesn’t like sharing his home, food, or toys with other dogs. We are also looking for a home with no small children because he can get a little nippy if he’s bugged to much. He will also require a patient groomer to do his face, as he’s stubborn about it. He’s a mellow guy, doesn’t bark, and is playful with stuffed toys. He’s housebroken but is also very good about using wee wee pads. We estimate him to be about 3 years old and 10lbs

Chipotle is microchipped, neutered, up to date on vaccinations, parasite prevention and tested negative for heartworm.
If you would like to meet Chipotle, please fill out an application and email gstrumph@montvillenj.org or drop it off at the shelter. If approved we will set up an appointment for a meet and greet. We do not place out of state.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
