Our newest dog guest Odie.  He is a 14 year old ShihTzu/Poodle mix.  A neighbor found him lying next to his owners body, she had passed away 3 days before being discovered.   He was moved from neighbor to neighbor finally ending up with us.  He was a very, very sick puppy!  With chronic diarrhea he was extremely dehydrated, so he spent 3 days at our Vet on IV, in order to determine what was wrong with him blood work and xrays were done   He was sent home with medication and is fit as a fiddle today.  Toilet issues were a challenge, but he is learning that his "business" is done outside not in the house. He does require a little encouragement in that department.
