In shelter Cat

Cedar Rapids, IA, 52405
Pet name:
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sturgis is ready to live the good life as a pampered, indoor house cat. He appears to have spent many years having to fend for himself, but hes settled into rescue very well and has proven himself to be a very friendly and easygoing guy! Sturgis can live happily with other cats, although he may try to steal their breakfast! He doesnt seem to be a big fan of being held, but he gladly accept rubs and pets, so our guess is that once he settles into his forever home hell learn how great it is to be a part of a family and become even more affectionate (and maybe even a couch hog!)

The adoption fee for Sturgis is $100 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccinations and FeLV/FIV testing. Sturgis has also recently had a dental procedure. Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor pets only, be altered and current on vaccinations and preventatives. We look for applicants to have a demonstrated history of this with current and/or former pets. Our adoption process includes a vet history check and a home visit, please submit an adoption application for consideration through our website.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
