Kiki is looking for a new home through no fault of his own. We (FFOCAS) are helping his current family find his forever home! :-) This handsome guy has been friendly with everyone he meets, human and dog. He is sometimes snuggly, but, as is typical for his breed, Kiki is often more independent as well. He so loves to play with other dogs! He even put up with our tester dog when she was "in a mood" and snapped in his face. :-\\ He patiently gave her space and then again tried to engage with her in a playful but polite way. Kiki is looking for a home with another dog and a big fenced yard to allow for plenty of playtime and exercise. He would love to have a family that goes for hikes and other adventures! We dont have any information on how Kiki would do with young kids or with kitties. In addition, Kiki may have minor handling/touch sensitivities (again, this is not uncommon among huskies), so we are looking for a home with adults/teens -- no younger kids and no kitties. Kiki is not fully housetrained, but this is a reflection of the familys situation, not Kikis ability to learn. He "goes" outside but just cant be taken out regularly enough to fully learn that he should *only* go outside. He has pee pads inside, which he is kind enough to use consistently. Kiki is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and recently tested negative for heartworms. This silly boy is looking for a new home because his current family has realized that they cant adequately meet his needs. They are living in a home without a fenced yard and in a neighborhood where they know no one. They would like to be able to arrange play dates, but their neighbors primarily have tiny dogs who find Kiki to be "a bit much" just because he is bigger and very playful. They are heartbroken to give him up, but they know this is what is best for Kiki. Interested? Wed love to hear from you! Please email us (ffocas4pets@gmail.com) or contact us via PetFinder.
