If you want a sweet devoted companion dog, Blu is the one for you. Blu is very happy, he prances and dances. This dog loves life and is very joyful. He followed his previous owner around and would sit next to her when she did her Yoga.  He  wants a person to love him and he will love you back.    Blu is very sweet and loves attention.  He will be a great companion dog.  He prefers to be with his people. Responds great to firm direction.   He barks only when needed and is a great protector.  With some situations he is cautious and unsure but is okay once he knows everything is fine.

He is better with older children/teens. He would not do well with little children. He is unsure and cautious of toddlers and little kids who move fast.

 He had an injury to his hind foot/leg when we got him but was so accepting and sweet while we cleaned and treated his wound.   He knew we were trying to help him, even though it was uncomfortable and painful. He is a survivor and has healed. We are blessed to say he now runs and plays on all fours.  This is a wonderful dog. You will love him when you meet him.

Blue, does have an issue though ...he is fearful of tall/large men. A large man came to his home and Blue bit him. The man stepped over him while he was sleeping.  It woke him, startled him and thats when he bit his leg.  He would do best in a home where there are not a lot of visitors coming and going.

He is  apprehensive in meeting some new dogs since he was attacked by another dog prior to us getting him.   However, with the  proper introduction, he can be friends with other dogs.  Hes fine with little dogs but is uncomfortable with some big dogs he does not know.  He would be best as an only dog since he enjoys giving and receiving loves.........training, patience and good leadership can solve many issues.
