We received and emergency call at about 10:30 from two incredible FedEx drivers. They were driving down a rural dirt road when one of them called out "STOP! ITS A DOG!"

What looked like a dirty stuffed animal, laying limp and lifeless in the middle of the sugar sand road was actually a living creature. A 10 month old puppy!

What they had found was a very sick puppy laying in the road... nose blocked with green snot, gums grey and not moving. When we saw this photo, we immediately felt a sense of urgency. According to his collar, Bear is this fellas name... and he looks bad.

These wonderful FedEx guys located the owner and got us on the phone. After a brief conversation, the owner agreed to bring Bear into Ocala, they are enroute!

We called our vet, Midtown Animal Clinic of Ocala immediately and they worked a MIRACLE for this dog (we have a spot for 2:30).
