Description:
"BOZ IN A NUTSHELL" - A quiet, laid-back Silky Terrier who will be a wonderful companion for a "mostly at home" owner with or without another dog. Fenced yard a must! If this sounds like you, read on....

"Charming" and "Laid Back" are two words that best describe little "Boz". Were not 100% sure if Boz is a Yorkie or a Silky but either way....he is a wonderful little man!

"Charming and "laid back" are the two words that best describe Boz. He came to our rescue group from an inner city animal shelter where he had been picked up as a stray. Its sad to think of this delicate little man fended for himself on the streets of Chicago! But Boz survived and came through with flying colors. Though we dont know his exact age, our vet estimated him between 7 and 8 years of age. And at just 12 lbs., he is a portable little guy!

Boz is most at home cuddled up next to his people but he also loves playing with his canine foster brothers. He has not been exposed to cats but we suspect that he would do just fine with a kitty.

Boz is housebroken and gives a clear signal when he has to go out. But on those occasions when his foster parents have, they crate Boz because he may mark when left alone. He really doesnt like being away from his special people.

Boz has been fully vaccinated and heartworm tested. He is neutered and will have a dental prior to adoption.

If you are interested in adopting Boz, you must fill out the following application: http://www.cairnrescueusa.com/adopt/frm_adopt.php, Unfortunately we can not answer general inquiries made through Petfinder. The above application IS A MUST!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
