I am a common snapping turtle for adoption in the Baltimore, Maryland, area. Im an adult, 14" and over 22 years old. Ive been a pet for 19 years. Youll need a 300 gallon stock tank with a strong filter, basking area, and heat/UVB lights, if you dont have a pond in an escape-proof yard. Im very active and love to eat, but I DO NOT like to be handled. Because I didnt get the right care early on, my shell is a little too small for my body, but I swim and walk and get around just fine. 

Our snappers eat Mazuri small aquatic crocadilian pellets, but ZooMed Growth Formula pellets are good, too. They love strawberries.
