He has quite the overbite and big soft jowls so he truly looks like he has a little shar pei or hound mix in his makeup. He sort of reminds us of Bruce the shark from Finding Nemo! Baron isnt a big fan of being left home alone for long days, he prefers to hang with his people and not be left out of the fun! He has lived in a home before, so potty training is in his repertoire but crate training is still a work in progress. Baron is a fit in a home as an only dog, or with a female dog that is non-dominant and playful and around his size (60ish pounds). Baron is not a fit with cats. Kids aged 12+ are a-okay with Baron.

Barons adoption fee is $250 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccinations and preventatives PLUS a free basic obedience course at Cedar Run in Hiawatha. Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor pets only, be altered and current on vaccinations and preventatives. Our adoption process includes reference and background checks, a vet check and a home visit.
