Tucker is an 8 yr old terrier mix. He is approximately 25 lbs. He is fine with other dogs, but when they bark, he barks constant until they stop. He is very sweet, but competes with the other dogs for your attention so he would love to be your only or maybe with one other dog. We are working on his house training. He insists on sleeping in the bed with you and will whine if he is kenneled. Tucker walks a little slow and ‘crooked’ most likely due to a previous injury. Tucker sometimes will snap at you if you try to pick him up the wrong way most likely connected to a previous injury as well so a house with children probably wouldnt fit best. He is a very sweet dog that is set in his ways. He would be a great fit with someone who works from home or is retired with a fenced yard. All UnderDogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm checked, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and heartworm/flea/tick preventatives.  For consideration for one or more dogs, we require that an on-line application is filled out.

Sorry, we do not adopt outside of Florida.  Applicants are subject to a home visit, and veterinary references will be checked. Please include a vet reference (including phone number) when applying online.

Our application process:
FIRST, an application must be approved for adoption from our rescue.
SECOND, we determine whether the dog that has been applied for is a "good match" for the household that wants to adopt him/her.  We take into consideration the dogs activity level, compatibility with other members of the household (human and other pets), etc.
If your application has been approved, but the dog you applied for is no longer available, please take the time and look over our adoptable dogs again.  We will make every effort to find the right dog for an approved applicant.
