Description:
Ragin Cajun is a beautiful 1 year old terrier mix who weighs about 20 lbs. He has beautiful coloring with being on his back feathering down to white. He has the cutest face! Cajun is a very outgoing and friendly pup. He’s looking forward to a privacy fenced yard where he can run all his wiggles out. He’s very playful and energetic. He’s a sweet boy but doesn’t seem to realize his own strength. Toddlers and small children are not for him as he could easily accidentally knock them down wanting to play. He’d be a great family dog for older kids, however. We highly recommend obedience training for our young dogs to help them learn to be better house citizens.
Cajun is looking forward to durable chew toys, lots of walks, and playing fetch!
If you’d like to meet Cajun, the first step is to hit the START YOUR INQUIRY
button and request an adoption application.
Please allow 1-2 weeks to finish processing your application, but please know our volunteers are working hard on it. Please note that we do not hold our dogs when someone applies for it.
Cajun’s adoption fee is $400 and is tax deductible.

NOTE: You must complete and submit an application and be approved to adopt prior to being able to meet our dogs. Be prepared to travel to Tulsa, OK, or Oklahoma City, OK, or the location where this dog is fostered to pick up your dog in person if your application is approved. Once you are approved, you may adopt any of our dogs that is a good fit.
We are a non-profit organization that spends our adoption fees and donations on vaccinations, surgeries, various medical tests, medicines, food and supplies needed by our dogs. Our fees do not cover the overall expenses incurred by the care of our dogs, but they do help defray the costs involved. We thank you for your support.

Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We always try to select the right applicant for each dog, based on the dog’s needs and try to find the best match for both dog and human.
We leave a dog’s profile online until either it has been adopted, has received several applications, or is not able to be adopted for some reason.
