Requirements – Applications in Chatham Kent accepted - secure fenced yard with direct access from home, double doors as he is a door dasher and safety is a priority with Tanner.    Children 12 yrs and older.

Tanner is a well behaved little guest in his foster home ( DOB 2014).  He lost his home when his owner could no longer care for him.  

He is shy with new people but warms up quickly once he knows he can trust you.  He loves to be close and he is a snuggler under the blankets!  Thats his favourite spot to be!  Tanner prefers women although he does like to periodically hang out with this foster dad and other dogs to see if treats are coming his way.  If a couple were interested, the wife would need to be his main caregiver.  

Tanner will be your loyal little buddy.  

Tanner has a 2/6 heart murmur (no meds are needed) and he had a dental done in November/20.  He was a great patient and did very well.  

This little guy can JUMP!  He has managed to find his way on top of the a table several times.  If this is something that won’t bother you, ok!  He has learned that is not a good behaviour and has been keeping his feet on the floor :-)

Tanner is very smart, he loves playing with toys and can entertain himself with a stack of toys.  He gets excited about his meal times and wants to be a bed buddy too so sleeping on the bed and under the covers with his adopter is a MUST.  

He is a healthy, happy little guy who loves to toss his toys and sometimes stockpiles them on the bed.

Once Tanner is comfortable, he is super cuddly and enjoys hanging out where you are.  He would not be happy being left alone for long periods of time and no apartments for this guy.  

Tanner is a pro at walking on a leash, he is amazing!  He gets along with other dogs but he prefers they are visitors and he can have his family all to himself.  

Our goal is to find the perfect home where Tanner will feel special.  He wants to be someone’s special boy and that’s our mission!
