Handsome Benson was found Dumped in a park in 2019. He was a skeleton, heartworm positive, and very neglected. We took him into rescue after a good Samaritan contacted us. Benson is now about 5 years old in perfect health at a good 50 pounds! Are YOU Ready to be his pet parents? Benson would love to find a buddy to lay at his feet and sleep most of the day... and trot and sniff around the yard.
Benson is a very sweet terrier mix. He is house trained, crate trained, and loves his outside time laying in the sun and meeting new people. Benson is a boy who needs a person who understands his breed and he needs to be an only dog. Benson is strong and his nose is his guide so a fenced in yard is a must and a good grip on the leash. Benson is a dog who is smart and determined. Even if that’s the determination to take a nap in the perfect sun spot. He is loyal and would do best with someone who is home more often than not in a quiet home with no other dogs or children as he gets overwhelmed. This handsome boy deserves all the love and attention! Benson loves a car ride and goes everywhere with his foster dad. He loves his walks, and he naps hard, but most of all he wants a forever home and someone to love.
