Pinto was found as a stray in October 2017, now making him one of our top 10 longest residents. He was found on someones property and followed the home owner inside her home. (Heart breaking, we know). With slow intros with other dogs, Pinto will feel comfortable, but he doesnt appreciate overly pushy dogs! Pinto is though, a very insecure and nervous dog. Pinto is now 6 years old and weighs about 60 pounds. Pintos ideal home is with a savvy owner who has experience with guarding. During his stay at the shelter, we have been working on loose leash walking and commands like "place", "sit" and "down". One of his favorite people here at the shelter has said some great things about him - He loves to play in the yard and play fetch, he walks great on leash and is scared of thunderstorms. This poor guy has been waiting so long for his home and we really wish his person would come in to find him soon.
