THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY IN FOSTER CARE IN WEST CALDWELL, NJ
This adorable little terrier is approx 2 yrs old and 14 lbs, he was just a stray picked up off of the streets
He did test heartworm positive when we took him. To our rescue and he was treated with the recommended treatment as per the American Hesrtworm Society
We find that that the dogs usually text negative in 4 to 6 months
He has been started on Heartguard and Nexguard for fleas and ticks
We require that he stay on these preventatives for at least 12 months after his treatment
He is a really sweet and easy going little boy and his foster says he gets along really well with her two small dogs and is no trouble at all, he loves rolling in the leaves outside and thinks thats a fun game..he does sometimes get into spats with other male dogs and seems to do better with females
He likes to go on walks and meet people and seems to be pretty well house trained, he likes being with people and will be very quick at running through a door to be where you are and has to be watched carefully..
He has a great personality and disposition and is going to make a great companion for someone ,
