Meet Boone! This goofy guy is a 2 yr old, 64lb Hound dog mix whos excited to meet you! Boone is a very intelligent boy and learns quickly. He currently knows Sit and is working on Down and is eager to have someone teach him more. Boone does well with the other big dogs in his foster home. Boone would do best in an hound-savvy home that will give him daily interaction. He is a silly and happy boy! His foster mom says his absolute favorite thing is belly rubs so he adores rolling on his back to try to get everyone to give him a good belly pat! He definitely is primarily hound as he delights in tracking smells. He will stop what hes doing and follow his nose. Lets not forget about that Hound howl! Boone likes to tell you about it and has that typical hound song he sings. Boone revels in playing with his toys. He likes to throw them in the air and then roll on them to hear them squeak! Boone also likes to engage in the "zoomies" in the yard. He adores being outside and would be a great companion for a family who enjoys hiking or walking. Boone is quite strong when his nose tells him where to go. Boone is a wonderful boy who is very loving and loyal to his people. If you have an active household looking for that perfect long-eared companion, contact us about Boone today!

All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
