Think you’re seeing double? Don’t worry, you’re not! It’s just Pete and Milton! 

These two handsome Weimaraners are just under 2 years old. Clearly, they are a sight for sore eyes! Look at that silvery shine! They are a bonded pair, meaning they need to go to a home together. They’re about 80 pounds each but isn’t the saying “the more the merrier”? 

These guys would make excellent family dogs! The only reason why they were surrendered was because the owners said they didn’t have time for them! They’re great with everyone! Other dogs, kids, and even cats! They’re crate and house trained, off leash trained and have spent 3 weeks with a board and train. They’re also heartworm negative and neutered, so they’re ready for their forever homes!

**Please do not use the "Introduce Yourself" feature. The information needed to determine if you might be a match for one of our animals can only be found on our application. An inquiry, questions or introduction through Petfinder is NOT an application. All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily. Other info would be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the number of introductions/questions received (hundreds daily) we ask you submit an application on our website (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue).

The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescues vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention. Please see our website for more information. 

2022 Adoption Fee Scale for non-benefactor animals:
Puppies under 12 months - $350
Dogs over 12 months - $250

*Take Paws Rescue saves dogs from high-kill shelters in Southeast Louisiana, owner surrenders, and discarded dogs with uncertain futures. All of our puppies live in foster homes where they are socialized, and well cared for. An application will be required to make sure it’s the perfect match!
