Description:
HORCHATA, named for the milky colored rice drink, is an adorable Yellow Lab mix about 10 months old and 45 lbs! Too cute for words!

Horchatas prior owners did not vaccinate him, and he contracted the often-fatal parvovirus. They heartlessly took him to the ER and requested he be euthanized. As fate would have it, we happened to be visiting another of our dogs at the ER when Horchata was brought in. We couldnt stand the thought of him being needlessly euthanized, and took him under our care. Horchata was hospitalized for several days, but luckily was strong enough to beat the parvovirus and is now perfectly healthy!

Horchata loves to play with his toys and other K9 friends. He also is super friendly with people, and enjoys belly rubs, pets, and of course doggie treats. Horchata is crate trained and almost house-trained too. He is a young and energetic pup looking for an active person or family to give him lots of love!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
