Please read his biography below to learn what he needs in a home placement and how to apply. Bentley was owner surrendered by a family who kept him in a puppy pen while they worked all day everyday.\xa0 He is 2 yrs old and weighs 13 lbs. He is now in foster care and being exposed to every day life outside of his puppy pen.\xa0 Hes a goofy guy, very playful, loves toys and balls. He loves to play fetch and tug-o-war. He will need some help with further socialization.\xa0 He really has never been anywhere outside of the house, so, in social situations he becomes nervous and afraid of his surroundings. Bentley is going to need somebody that can help him on a daily basis and work extensively on socialization. He is not used to the rambunctiousness of small children so kids 10 and older or an adult home are going to be his best fit\xa0 He is still getting used to his surroundings in foster care and will bond with women more quickly than men. He is housebroken. He is playful with other dogs but will sometimes guard his person, toys and chew bones. He will be fine as an only dog. He is still a little unsure of himself and we are working on confidence building.\xa0 So, although this little guy is adorable in these pictures he will need some work as he transitions into his forever home. As we learn more about Bentley we will update his biography.
