Beau came to us as an owner surrender from a hoarding situation. Beau had a rough time initially in our rescue as he would bite at his original foster mother. Whenever she made sudden movements or he got scared, he would nip and bite at her. This behavior is commonly seen by dogs without a lot of attention as they are growing. We did move Beau to a more experienced foster and he has shown very little of these traits since then. It has been nearly 3 months in this new home. Beau gets along with other dogs and does well with people when he has time to acclimate. New pups can take time to get used to their new environment and people. If you have the patience to work with him, we feel that he would be a wonderful addition to someones family. UPDATE: Beau had a biting incident on August 29, 2022 with a new foster that was intending to adopt him. It is detrimental that potential adopters understand that Beau will need time and space to get acclimated in a new home. He will come to you when he is ready.
