Leah is currently in a foster home in Portland, OR and is eligible for meet & greets! 

Meet Leah!

Leah is an 8-10 month old American Foxhound mix. She currently weighs 30 pounds and we do anticipate that shell stay on the smaller - medium side. Leah is fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed and ready to find a family to call her own! 

Leah was found hanging around outside of a restaurant. Workers said she had been there for a few days and they believe someone dumped her there. Thankfully for her, we had an amazing foster family step up for her and take her home to care for her until we can find her a forever home! 

Leah is super friendly with everyone she has met so far! She currently lives with 4 other dogs in her foster home and she plays great with everyone. Shes also super sweet when guests come over to visit. She happily greets everyone at the door with tail wags and puppy kisses. 

Leah has not met any cats, but were happy to cat test her for any potential families with cats. 

Leahs foster mom says that shes great about matching energy. Shell run and play if someones available, but shes also happy to snuggle on the couch if youre wanting to relax. She loves being by her people, but if youre busy around the house, shell go and lay in her bed and keep herself busy with a toy. When she first got into her foster home, she didnt know what toys were, but now that she does, she LOVES them! 

Leah is potty trained and crate trained! She stays in the crate while her foster family is away at work or out for errands and she does well in there. She sleeps in bed with her foster family at night and cuddles all the way through the night.

She does great with baths and nail trims at home. Shes the perfect little girl!
