Hi, I’m Penelope! I’m 2 years old and about 45 pounds. Mawm agreed to help (no thumbs, ya know) me write my own bio this time, so I’d like to tell you some Very Important Information to entice you to adopt me. - Most important of all, my biggest dealbreaker is that my new person must let me sleep under the covers with them. Must must must. I can save you some electricity bills with my toe-warming skills. - If you know pitties, we can TOOT. I don’t toot. I’m the freshest smellin’ pittie you’ll ever meet. Natural gas expulsion is only utilized in very particular situations, like when I need a boost onto the couch. - My Gramps (Mawm’s dad) says that I can be a good running buddy with a little bit of practice, and he also was quite impressed that I will return the toy that I chase. We had a good time playing tug, chase, and fetch, but I guess I wore him out because HE said that I need a kid to grow up with and play in the backyard with. Before I came to my foster home, I grew up with four kids. I argue, it was like 10 minutes and then we both went to take a nap. - I’ve got some rockstar house manners- fully housebroken, crate trained, and have a pretty high powered off button after a few “welcome home” zooms. Never once have I chewed on something I wasn’t supposed to. Mawm says I could probably be a free roam dog. - If you need moral support for working at home, PeNelly’s your girl. I can snooze all day in there with you and eat your snack crumbs so you don’t have any housework after a long day. - I really enjoy playing with my dog sisters, but I can be a bit (or a lot, depending on who you ask) annoying. Sometimes I bark at everyone and no one in particular, sometimes I lick too much in the face. Mawm says I need to be supervised pretty close because apparently I don’t read doggo body language well. - I lOoOoOve my kitty. My kitty does not love me back. Mawm worked really hard on redirecting my attention back to her with treats, but if she’s not looking, sometimes I still go sniff and lick the cat. Now if the kitty sits by the water bottle… I don’t mess with the kitty. Mawm can tell you a whole lot more about me if you’ll submit an adoption application. Can’t wait to meet you! To apply fill out our online Adoption application at https://form.jotform.com/80635351784158 Our dogs are fostered in Texas but available for adoption in the Northern States. We have transports that leave Texas monthly. Our out of state adoption fee is $575 per dog. This fee includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations, a registered microchip, a negative heart worm test, health certificate, flea/tick monthly preventative and transport costs. The adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Face time, etc). The adoption application and fee would be finalized prior to transport.
