Meet Willow!

6 years old, Spayed Female, Australian Cattle Dog/Great Pyrenees mix, 70 lbs

Willow is a special girl.  A very special girl, that need a very special person to adopt her.  Her preference is a woman-led home. She loves air conditioning, and comfy beds.  Also likes to defluff toys and play with them!

She is a smart girl, who can be stubborn when she wants to sleep in during the mornings (haha).  She takes quite some time to warm up to new people, and does not show well in a kennel/cage (has cage aggression with strangers and food).  She would like to be able to be an inside/outside dog, as she enjoys doing both (especially the cool air!).  YOU MUST HAVE A FENCED IN YARD!

Willow cannot be placed in a home with other dogs or cats, as she can be very aggressive around her personal space and food.  A securely fenced in yard is a must, but 4-foot fencing is just fine.  She knows basic commands, crate trained, and house trained.  She was adopted originally from rescue as a puppy, but eventually became too aggressive with the other dogs in her home to live there safely.  When given a chance, she loves to run around the back yard and roll down the hill!  She likes short walks in familiar quiet parks, but doesnt want to meet new people or dogs, thank you.

She has skin allergies that can become severe in the summer, and needs regular vet visits to manage this with proper flea/tick meds and ear meds, etc.  Also requires grain free food, no chicken. If you can commit to giving her the loving home she deserves, she promises to love you forever. It will take several meetings to adjust to new people, so potential adopters need to live in the Cleveland/Chattanooga area.  Thank you!

NOTES:

Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, microchip, set of three (3) DHPP vaccines (puppies under 4 months only), bordatella (kennel cough) vaccine, rabies vaccine (over 3 months old),  heartworm test (6 months or older), deworming, and up to date flea/tick/heartworm prevention.  

This dog/puppy is in foster care in Cleveland, TN. Our standard adoption fee is $150 unless otherwise noted, which includes all vetting.  Application, vet references, personal references, and home visits may be required prior to adoption.
