Description:
Reba is a happy-go-lucky cattle dog mix! She’s alert, busy, playful, and loves to fetch. She enjoys her people, toys, and a good bone to chew on. Reba is potty trained and kennel trained in a large stand-up type kennel with an open top. She prefers this over a small enclosed kennel but with time and training, I think she’d overcome this. She’s good with other dogs and dog savvy cats (those that don’t run). Her herding instinct is strong, so if it runs or can be moved she will chase! She will require ongoing leash training to get her less reactive to distractions. Reba has made a ton of progress since she was rescued! She is SO smart and picks up on her training with ease. Reba continues to work on manners and commands such as “leave it” and “off”. She’s a great listener and responds quickly. Reba is VERY athletic and with proper training, would excel in competitive sports such as agility, fly ball, or disc. Reba will need an active family, a large yard to run and play in, and shed love another energetic dog to play with.
