Description:
Hi there! My names Lilly, and Im a sweet, confident, playful, energetic 45-pound Australian Cattle Dog/ Fox Terrier mix who was born in November 2017. Dont you just love my red eyebrows as well as my freckled nose and forelegs? Ive got the weight and build of an ACD but the coloration of a Fox Terrier.
I make a devoted family companion because Im a good-natured, fantastic girl who gets along with humans of all ages. However I need to be an "only pet-child" since Im not compatible with other dogs and my terrier instincts give me a penchant for chasing cats.
My ACD ancestry (if thats what I am as a rescue dog) points to my boundless energy, tireless work drive, and shepherding instincts; my being a sweet, lively, active, and clever pooch hearkens back to my Fox Terrier heritage. All of these qualities make me a good fit as a partner for runners or hikers as well as a participant in dog sports.
Im rugged and agile, so Ill need daily exercise to keep me both mentally and physically fit. The last thing you want is for me to get into mischief because Im bored! I train beautifully as long as my owner doesnt passively renege and let me "own" him.
Im so well socialized that I was obviously someones pet, but unfortunately I was found as a stray with no identification. It was the first day in the rest of my life when the Good Samaritan who saved me turned to Miss Donna to find me a forever home.
I hope that my perky face and big smile have captured your heart so youll arrange to meet me today! Lets go for a walk or a jog. I promise you everyone you pass by will compliment you that "the" perfect dog is your companion!
Lilly is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully trained. Her adoption fee is $250 for dogs older than 9 months. An application must be filled out prior to adoption.
