HOW TO MEET THIS ANIMAL: Come meet them every Saturday and Sunday at the Homeward Trails Adoption Center located at 11116 Fairfax Station Road in Fairfax Station, Virginia from 10 am until 4 pm. LOCATION: Foster home ADOPTION COORDINATOR: Contact sueb@homewardtrails.org ADOPTION FEE: $475 ESTIMATE WEIGHT FULL GROWN: 15 lbs KNOWN WITH DOGS: Lacey gets along with other dogs and currently resides with 2 in her foster home. She also welcomed a third dog for Thanksgiving without a problem. When out in the yard, Lacey will sometimes try to play with her canine foster sister who occasionally cooperates with some pouncing around or a game KNOWN WITH CATS: No info but this girl is so sweet and a bit shy we suspect she would be just fine with them. KNOWN WITH KIDS: Great. She spent Thanksgiving with a whole bunch of kids and people of all ages and is a big sweetie and cuddle bug. KNOWN COMMANDS: Nothing specific yet but she leash walks nicely with her foster siblings and knows to go out into the yard by command. KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING &/OR CRATING: Doing great. Goes into her crate not thrilled but settles down nicely and loves to explore her fenced yard and go on walks with her foster siblings. Very few accidents in the house so far. KNOWN LIKES: "Lacey LOVES people! She is super sweet and affectionate and loves cuddling and giving kisses. Lacey also LOVES to play fetch!! Instead of dropping the ball, she runs to her person and flips onto her back with the ball in her mouth." KNOWN DISLIKES: Due to all the loud bus and truck noises on city walks, Lacey would love a home in a quieter, suburban neighborhood. Nothing extreme but will get spooked by loud noises or a ton of extreme chaos - she just calmly retreats to her crate if she feels a bit scared. ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: This sweet girl is a JOY. She loves people and cuddles and walks. She will make great family member. She truly loves her walks so someone who is an active walker will be a great fit for this girl --
