Description:
Meet Vixie!

One of four sisters (Dixie, Trixie, Pixie and Vixie) rescued in a city park after being dumped at about 3 months old. They are now 6 month old love bugs that want your attention and affection. These girls are all very smart, playful, energetic and athletic (aka little jumping beans)!

Shepherd, Border Collie and Lab is the likely mix and will probably grow no larger than 50-55 lbs full grown. They love people and are good with men, women and children. In fact, they are quite content being right inside your bubble. Caution with small children as they are still puppies and learning manners (jumping is a behavior we are working on). They have been social with grown dogs but cats are an unknown. They are eager to please, currently learning "no," and have had some minimal leash work. These beauties are reserved at first meeting, but warm up fairly quickly. They are also good at alert barking. A mixed breed of intelligent working, sporting and guarding breeds, they will need mental stimulation and an outlet for their energy (safe, outdoor space).

Vixie is the other bossy one of the group. However she is a sweetheart of a girl who loves her people to dote on her. She has had some crate training and some potty training as well! Vixie loves to snuggle with you on the couch and play with her toys.

Adoption via contract.
Fee is $350 (total):
$150 adoption fee plus a
$200 spay/neuter, chip, and Rabies vaccinations fee (reimbursable upon proof of completion).
Parvo vaccinations are currently up to date.

Please, only apply if you can give one of these pups a fur-ever home. They love to play with each other, dig, play tug, run around and give loves. They are smart, treat motivated and very active. This mixed breed will need a yard to play in, mental stimulation and would do best with a friend if left alone for long periods of time.

If you are interested in adopting, you must fill out an application first. You can go to www.LAFPOGCW.org to complete one, or message us here and we will email you a copy.

You must fill out and submit an application to even be considered for a meet and greet. We do require references. Thank you!
