GRANNY SMITH ~~ Spayed Female, Boxer Mix, 54 pounds, DOB: 9/3/2013 ANYONE WHO LOVES SENIOR PETS WILL LOVE THIS CUDDLE BUG WHO IS LOOKING FOR A NICE PLACE TO SPEND HER RETIREMENT YEARS. CAN YOU HELP? Granny Smith had a rough start and was left on her own near a dog park in Roswell. A kind person found her and brought her to us. Her skin was in terrible condition, but with the medical care she deserves, she has turned around and is on the way to living her best life. Now, all that she needs is a forever home for her retirement years! Granny Smith is the sweetest girl but does need to be the only pet in the household. Granny Smith is an angel and has never met a stranger. She is happy, friendly, social, outgoing and enjoys being with and around people. She loves to be pet and fussed over, is pretty good on the leash and would enjoy a nice fenced backyard to sunbathe and run around in. She may even enjoy the occasional car ride to help you with all of your errands. Granny Smith will need to be the only pet at home. She is reactive towards other dogs and seems to want all of the attention to herself. Granny Smith doesn’t think this is too much to ask. She also requests some comfy beds and fun toys to play with. Her adoption fee includes a one month supply of Simparica Trio (for heartworms, fleas, ticks and intestinal parasites). She is up to date on all vaccines and vet services, is microchipped, and is still on some medications as her skin issues continue to heal and clear. Granny is eligible for our Senior for Seniors Adoption Program ~~ if adopted by a senior citizen, we will waive her adoption fee and give her owner 15% off vet services, food, medications for the remainder of her life.
