Meet Lucy

It is true the camera adds 10 pounds, at least. I am a smaller dog at around 30 pounds. I came into the rescue with two gigantic puppies that appeared to be Catahoula mixes due to their splotches. 

I was an incredible Mommy Dog and my babies already moved to new homes in New England. I was skinny from growing puppies and feeding puppies, but now I am about filled out. 

Due to my general coloring and size, I am thought to be a Blackmouth Cur type of dog. Or part Catahoula such as my babies. Fairly common around these rural parts.

I am very friendly with all the dogs here. I am practicing my crate and potty training. I would love to move in with you and practice learning more good girl stuff, as I have a naturally eager to please demeanor. 

I recently took one of those “What Golden Girl Am I” Quizes and was shocked to get Blanche because I totally thought I was a Rose, eager to please, motherly nature, naturally blonde….musta been a glitch!

I am a Rose 100%!
