Daisy is a 10 pound, 5-6 year old Dachshund mix with only 3 legs.

Daisy has exhibited extraordinary fortitude and tenacity throughout her recovery. Enduring multiple surgeries following a tragic car accident, her ability to persevere through such adversity showcases her unwavering strength and resilience. 

When we first got Daisy she had gone through one surgery already. After fixing her hip on one side so she can walk on it properly, she had her shattered leg on the opposite side amputated. Shes only a few weeks post amputation and let me tell you, this girl is getting around better than an olympic gold medalist. 

Daisy would thrive in the lap of an older couple, as she doesnt require much exercise and is a sweet and affectionate companion. She is great with other dogs and cats and loves to play. She likes everyone and shows no aggression or fear.

Daisy finds true happiness when going for walks, effortlessly zipping along since her amputation. She adores car rides and is a perfect passenger princess. She is content snuggling under a blanket next to her person on the couch or being carried around. She wants nothing more than to be burrowed under a blanket next to her human. 

Daisys story shows the indomitable nature of rescue dogs and their capacity to overcome even the most challenging circumstances.
