Description:
Meet Jenny the sweet hound girl who came to us severely underweight, but still as sweet as could be. She had been on the local shelters adoption floor for over a month with no interest and we believe the stress caused her to lose weight drastically despite being a good eater, so HSUC came to her rescue to get her out of the scary environment and let her heal physically and emotionally. She is doing so much better now, is back to a good weight, loves people, ignores cats, and does great with other dogs but really likes smaller or more laid back pups she even chose a few puppies from our 4th of July litter to be her foster friends. We are not sure if this sweet lady ever had the chance to be an indoor dog before coming to us but Jenny LOVES being outside and will likely require a fenced yard with a fence 5ft tall or more. She also likes to cuddle up on the couch with her foster too and although new places make her a little nervous after shes had a little time to check things out and meet everyone she will come lay her head in anyones lap for some love. If you may be interested in Jenny please fill out an adoption application on hsuc.org and we will get back to you on setting a time to come and meet her in person.
