If youre seeking that rare blend of sassy and sweet Gorgeous Gracie is a unique find. Gracie is a temptress, luring you in by coming to you quickly and wrapping her fluffy tail around your legs. She looks at you with those adoring eyes asking to be petted but beware! Gracie tests everyone by first nuzzling and licking you and then giving love bites. She just looks at you like you missed the point if you back away or reprimand her Gracie requires that you invest the time in a relationship. This gal has a heart of gold and will love you without limits but only IF you are willing to engage her with her rules in mind. A few of our volunteers have devoted the time to earn Gracies trust and, once earned, she is a joy to be around. When around those whove bonded with her, Gracie is an absolute pleasure. She purrs, she flips on her back and lets you rub her belly, she crawls on your lap and nuzzles you, she talks to you and responds to anything you do. Gracie is playful and loves climbing on perches and warming in the sun. Shes backpack trained - yep, shell climb into your backpack and totally love to hike around with you. Toys? Ha, no toy mouse or feather escapes her. And theres absolutely nothing better than ending your time together with snuggles and this furball gives quite amazing snuggles. Gracie is like that person in your life where you initially wonder "why bother" but after you invest the time you couldnt imagine life with anyone else. She is so intensely sweet and loving shes just like someone who makes it hard for you to love until you find out why, and then you cant imagine loving anyone more. Given her nature, we feel Gracie would be best as an only cat in a household with only adults. Regarding other cats, Gracie plays her "come here go away" game with other cats too. Our cats who also have spent months with her know that as well, and they enjoy baiting her and then running away. Gracie will exchange growls with larger cats, although there is rarely any physical exchange, but kittens will just retreat wondering what they did wrong. We dont know about dogs but would guess shed stand her ground and likely intimidate a dog just a guess. If youre looking for a young cat with "catitude" and are willing to put time into building a relationship that will bring endless love and snuggles and commitment, please come meet our Gracie.INDOOR ONLY Adoption fee: $65~~If you are interested in this animal, you can complete the questionnaire found on the available pets page of our website http://hbpr.org.
