Description:
Mahi & OrangeRoughy

They entered this world together & almost left it together. The kittens were mere hours away from death when they were brought to Cat NAPS. They were emaciated, had severe eye infections, upper respiratory infections, anemia from fleas & ticks & they cold to the touch. Nothing was adding up in their favor. By the grace of God or a higher power & their strong will to live, they survived, although their one brother did not. Too weak to eat on their own, they were hand fed every few hours.
Fast forward to today, and Mahi (the one who really surprised us) is actually a roly-poly kitten. OrangeRoughy is a silly kitten who enjoys playing with the other kittens. He has really blossomed into a long hair bright orange classic tabby. They both know their names & usually come when called, especially at dinner time!
OrangeRoughy & Mahi are very social, affectionate kittens but will need some time to adjust to living in another home. They absolutely must be adopted together after being through so much. Also, between them, they only have one really good eye. ? They’re spayed/neutered/vaccinated, negative for FeLV & they both had one eye removed. They did not get help early enough to save those eyes. We also microchipped them.
