When we say Xalerie has an extra spring in her step, we mean it! This playful kitten is full of energy and sometimes just pops herself into the air. She also loves to dart across the room at lightning speed, scurry up the couch and to play with wand toys. This little gal is a nonstop bundle of action-packed fun!

Xalerie has the loudest purr! If you want to hear it, all you need to do is pet her pretty tabby coat or tune in while shes playing...her purr motor is so mighty you cant miss it!

Xalerie gets along with other cats and is fine with the two dogs in her foster home. She doesnt mind their doggy licks and sniffs. and has discovered a definite perk of having a canine friend is their waggy tail...it makes a great toy! Xalerie loves sitting behind the patient resident dog and playing with his endlessly wagging tail for long stretches.

Xalerie has a wobbly walk and her head shakes a bit due to a neurological condition called feline cerebellar hypoplasia (CH) that causes balancing issues. CH is not contagious, doesnt progress and does not require special care. In fact, Xalerie has the same long, happy and healthy lifespan ahead of her as any kitten. But, she does need to be kept away from stairs and must be an indoor-only kitty. For more information on CH, please visit: lifewithchcats.com.

Xalerie would enjoy the company of a playful kitty friend in her forever home. She loves to play and wrestle with other cats! If you do have stairs, a baby gate can be used to block Xaleries access. Ready to meet this energetic, playful and extra happy girl? Contact us to schedule an introduction!
