Shadoes foster writes: Shadoe loves attention. She wants to be where the people are, preferably in their laps or curled up next to them in their beds. She doesnt necessarily need to be petted all the time; she just wants to cuddle. When she cuddles with you, she understand that sometimes you have to get up to do your human business and when you do she patiently stretches, follows you, and waits for you to sit down again so you can go back to your cuddle. For a cat of her age, she is incredibly spry, bright-eyed and healthy. With her tiny frame and delicate little paws she looks more like a kitten, but without the hyperactivity! She has proven very calm and adaptable to the changes in her life. She has been living amicably with two children (ages 7 & 8).

Shadoe is a sweet senior gal who used to live with 1 adult and another cat. She sometimes played with the cat and sometimes was fearful. Her favorite activities were said to be sleeping and playing with laser toys. 
In the shelter, Shadoe likes to interact with people and appreciates receiving attention. She is sweet and affectionate, looking for a forever home with people who have an average level of cat parenting experience or a basic understanding of cat care.

A volunteer writes: Shadoe good naturedly welcomes visitors to her condo the best way she can. She was napping on her bed when I visited, but with her bright open face, Shadoe appeared to have been waiting for my visit all day. Coming forward to greet me, she wanted to stay right at the front for the most thorough welcome she could share. Since hosting comes naturally to our Shadoe, she gently peeked her head around to see what her neighbors were up to, but decided she was content to stay with me. With her adorable focus on giving nuzzles and accepting neck scritches, Shadoe made me feel right at home. Her previous family said she likes massages and we love a kitty who knows how to relax (shes very well rounded though because they also said shes known to love a good game of laser). Shadoe has been calm and easy going at the Care Center - staying true to her warm and welcoming self, even with the everyday hustle and bustle. Our darling Shadoe has lived with other cats, and was described as being gentle and a little shy with them. We know she will be a wonderful addition to her forever family this holiday season and beyond.
