Description:
We desperately need your help! These two babies have been in our care for 6 months and need to find their forever home quickly! If you have ever owned a cats, you know that they can quickly become bonded.
Caerus was found hit by a car and had a broken jaw. While he was healing, Avery came into our foster program and helped him heal emotionally, as he was completely shut down. Their foster mom says that they are constantly grooming, one another and when getting pets they also head but one another to make sure neither one of them is left out of affection.
Avery is talkative (makes little trill noises), outgoing and loves lots of attention. If she doesnt get a lot, she does start to over groom. She is around 7 months of age and completely vetted. She is great with other cats/ kittens and does well with small dogs that are non reactive.
Caerus is about 7 years old, has some old battle scars during his tomcat days and is a little more hesitant to trust people at first. He sadly still runs when his foster mom gets the broom out and isnt too fond of loud noises. He was hit by a car about 6 months ago and has a fracture in the center part of his lower jaw. He has had a major surgery and wasnt a candidate for total repair. His jaw is wonky, but makes him EXTRA beautiful! Once he trusts you, he will become your BFF! He seeks attention, and will head butt your face for you to kiss him! Hes a big old lover at heart! He is also completely vetted, great with all cats, and as well with puppies and small dogs that are non reactive.
Both are located in the Dallas Fort Worth, but adoptable anywhere. For the right home, a generous donor has offered to pay for their adoption fees.
As most of you know, adult cats already have their personalities and you know what you are getting when you adopt. We know that there is a home is somewhere out there for them stay together.
